Jack White’s Third Man Records teamed up with Gamechanger Audio for the new Plasma Coil octave fuzz pedal. Now with an added octaver effect in the mix.
Gamechanger Audio Third Man Records Plasma Coil
This fuzz pedal is based on Gamechanger’s standard Plasma Pedal, but adds in multiple octaver style circuits via the central control. That replaces the blend knob, so you can only switch this version on or off, rather than blending the original signal to taste.
The Plasma Coil is available to buy directly from the Third Man website. You can either stump up for a regular black version, or pay a little extra for a limited edition version of the pedal in yellow.

Octaver
You can hear the new pedal in action below in the official demo video. It sounds a lot like the original version of the Plasma Pedal to me. Just with that extra, admittedly useful octave effect. That’ll be useful for thickening your fuzz tone even more. The new pedals are on sale as of today direct from the link below.
