Made in China.
So? Show me any studio monitor that isn’t. In case you didn’t know, but those chinese factories make some really high end high quality stuff for various Pro Audio companies.
My main point was that for a company that’s priding itself in being Made in USA it’s a a bit surprising to slap their brand name on a piece of hardware that’s made in China.
Leaving that aside, you seem to know very little about the market of studio monitors. The vast majority are actually made outside China, with renown brands like Focal manfacturing in France, Neumann (Sennheiser, actually) manufacturing in Ireland and Germany, and even the budget Yamaha HS series made in Indonesia. And if you look at the retail price of Neumann or Focal gear – their average street price (apart from this sale at Thomann) is actually on the same level as the monitors that Gibson is selling here.
