Save time and money with the new Shure Audio Product Bundles
Shure has announced a variety of starter kits for musicians, vloggers, YouTubers, podcasters and other content creators. The Shure audio product bundles include audio equipment like microphones, headphones and in-ear monitors and the necessary accessories. Shure says that the kits are based on customer feedback, to give you the stuff you’ll actually use.
If you’re starting your career as a musician, cinematographer or podcaster, you should be focussing on your creativity instead of searching for the right gear. That’s why entry-level recording bundles by companies like Presonus, M-Audio, Focusrite and others are so popular, for example. It’s quite convenient to buy everything you need all at once, instead of having to pick out individual components. That’s why Shure has decided to put together a variety of audio product bundles for various creative endeavours like music, podcasting and vlogging.
Shure starter kits for musicians
The Shure Stage Performance Kit includes the venerable SM58 vocal microphone, a Sommer XLR cable and a sturdy K&M mic stand. It’s the quintessential setup for aspiring singers, and it comes with high-quality accessories so you won’t find yourself having to replace the mic stand after only a couple of weeks.
The PSM300 Twin Pack is a wireless in-ear monitoring solution for up to two artists. In addition to the PSM300 wireless transmitter, it includes two bodypack receivers and two sets of SE112 sound-isolating earphones.
The PSM300 Twin Pack Pro features two bodypack receivers with metal enclosures. They’re compatible with the optional SB900A rechargeable battery. This wireless in-ear monitoring kit for two musicians comes with two sets of SE215 sound-isolating earbuds.
Shure starter kits for content creators and mobile journalists
The Portable Videography Kit is designed for professional-sounding video recordings on the go. It starts with the MV88+ Video Kit, which includes an MV88 digital stereo condenser microphone, a Manfrotto PIXI mini tripod, phone mount, and Lightning and USB-C cables. The Videography Kit adds to this a pair of SE215 headphones for monitoring and an AMV-88-FUR windjammer.
The Shure Mobile Recording Kit comes with an MV5 digital microphone. It connects directly to a smartphone, tablet or computer via Lightning or USB. Also included is a pair of SRH240A headphones for monitoring.
The Digital Recording Kit is built around the MVI audio interface, which works with computers and mobile devices. It comes with a PGA58 dynamic vocal mic, XLR cable and a pair of SRH240A headphones.
Depending on your application, I think that many of these bundles make a lot of sense and can help you save money when you’re starting out. I especially like the fact that Shure includes decent accessories like a K&M stand and Manfrotto tripod with the audio product bundles, instead of the cheap stuff that tends to come with other entry-level bundles.
