Tape and Microsound Music Machine stereo Eurorack system from Make Noise
Make Noise modules have an uncanny knack of fitting well together. And so it comes as no surprise when Make Noise finds a reason to release a bundle of their latest works of Eurorack voltage poetry. The Tape and Microsound Music Machine is an exquisite modular synthesizer of animated time and tonal sculpting.

In a single row of 104hp we find the Mimeophon offering stereo repeats and travelling halos. The Morphagene brings in some stereo granularisation. Multiple peaks of multiple modes of filtering are provided by QPAS. And all this stereo sound is mixed through the useful XOH. Playing a supporting role are the old favourites of a black and gold fronted Maths, Wogglebug and a Mult.
Together they form the highly complex, manipulable and yet compact Tape and Microsound Music Machine. Stereo is a big feature of the latest Make Noise modules and that’s definitely an emphasis here.

The Morphagene acts as a recorder of sound and layerer of ideas while the Mimeophon mimics and throws out echoes of what has come before. QPAS mercilessly manipulates the stereo tones while Maths and Wogglebug get to work on moving elements, pushing parameters and feeding the brilliance back in on itself. It’s quite an exciting playground in a single row of modular.
To take one home will cost you $2120 and the case gives you 10hp spare to inject your own personality of module choice, or a blanking panel which has a character all of its own.
