Help get the Alan R. Pearlman Foundation to NAMM
Alan R. Pearlman invented the ARP synthesizer. The ARP 2500 was introduced in 1970 and gave Moog its first bit of serious competition and he went on to invent another 16 synthesizers.
50 years later and following Alan’s death in January Dina Pearlman (his daughter) formed the Alan R. Pearlman Foundation in order to preserve and celebrate her father’s legacy and to offer help and support to young and unfunded musicians through various charitable projects.
The work of the Foundation has only just begun and they have been given the opportunity to introduce themselves at the NAMM show in January. This should give them the exposure they need to kickstart and fund their projects.
So, the ARP Foundation is reaching out to the synthesizer community in an Indiegogo campaign to raise a very modest amount of money to cover the costs of attending the show and producing marketing materials. The target is $4632 which feels totally achievable.

The ARP Foundation sounds like an awesome and appropriate way to honour his contribution and snagging yourself some stickers or a t-shirt is a brilliant way to support their work. So, head over to the Indiegogo page to make your donation and choose your perk.

Thank you for posting this! Just a minor correction, it’s Alan Pearlman, not Alan Pearl. Again, mnay thanks.
Well of course it is, I’m an idiot, how did that happen? Sorry about that – it’s been corrected.
