NAMM 2020: UVI JP Legacy celebrates galactic Japanese analog synths
UVI has released a collection of 4 instruments inspired by iconic cosmically named Roland analog synthesizers. They are calling it the JP Legacy bundle.
JP Legacy
UVI brought together these 4 Japanese synthesizers which they can’t quite bring themselves to name and sampled the living heck out of them. Every sound is multi-sampled, multiple times in mono, poly, unison and ensemble modes so that everything is available and authentic at the touch of a button. They’ve crafted together 827 presets from over 80,000 samples and fronted them with good-looking interfaces for editing and tweaking.
- Saturn-4 – It’s a 4-voice polysynth from 1978 with a meaty 4-osc mono sound and rich pads.
- Saturn-6 – 12 oscillator, 6-voices with massively thick sounds.
- Saturn-8 – 16 oscillators, 8-voices, iconic and powerful.
- Mercury-80 – 16 oscillator, 8-voice super-synth.
JP Legacy will eat up 35GB of drive space, runs in the UVI Workstation and Falcon software and is available for MacOS and Windows in VST, AAX and AU formats for €199.
