NAMM 2020: Behringer teases a TR-606 clone drum machine for the first day of the show
In a new tease video Behringer announces that there are “3 Days To Go” referring to the start of the NAMM show. But is there something hidden in this video?
3 days until what?
It seems to be just a countdown. Check it out:

Now, if you’re really nerdy then you might notice that under the “10” of the countdown it has a zero whereas all the other numbers have the same number underneath. This is similar to how the Roland 909 is laid out albeit with the sequencer buttons between the numbers, so it could be a redisigned RD-9 because we haven’t seen that for several months now.
However, the Roland TR-606 does have the numbers right above each other just like the video and so I’m inclined to think that they are ready to roll out a Drumatix to go along with their recently released Bass Line.
Above the numbers there are some lines that could be graphics going around the buttons. On the 606 there are thicker lines between buttons 4 and 5, and 8 and 9 and we see those (possibly) in the video – although they are also present on the 909.
Obviously we are all impatiently waiting on the release of the RD-9 but it would be true-to-form for Behringer to have plenty more machines up its sleeve.
