NAMM 2020: Mackie intros Element dynamic, condenser, USB microphones
Now Behringer-owned, Mackie is well known to all of us as a manufacturer of live sound and studio equipment. Three Mackie microphones are coming to NAMM 2020 and they are called Element.
There are three models in the Mackie Element series: the EM-89D Live Vocal Dynamic Mic, the large diaphragm condenser microphone EM-91C, and the USB condenser microphone EM-USB .
Mackie EM-89D
The Mackie Element EM-89 D is a live vocal dynamic microphone with cardioid polar pattern. It is primarily designed for use on stage as a handheld vocal microphone, though it will do its part when recording instruments and amplifiers too.
Mackie EM-91C
The Mackie EM-91C is a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone that provides warm-sounding vocals and instruments. Mackie also addresses content producers and recommends the microphone for live streaming or voiceover recordings.
Mackie EM-USB
Third in the league is the USB condenser microphone EM-USB, which puts a little more focus on the area of content creation. This mic allows recordings, live streaming, podcasts or other online content to be realized without an additional audio interface, because the EM-USB can be connected directly to the computer via USB-C. It also has a mute function, an input level control and a headphone output.
