NAMM 2020: Mackie MC-350, MC-450 studio headphones
At NAMM 2020, Mackie launched two headphones called MC-350 and MC-450. Both have frequency response rated between 20 Hz to 20 kHz, an adjustable headband and ear pads made of genuine leather. This ensures a high level of comfort, even if the session takes longer than planned.
Mackie MC-350
The MC-350 is a closed headphone that can be used flexibly, for example for studio recordings, mixing or longer listening sessions. 50 mm drivers ensure a powerful low end. The MC-350 has an impedance of 32 ohms and a dynamic range of 97 dB. Its special housing tuning also ensures clean bass reproduction, improved detail resolution, and good depth. Nice to hear!
Mackie MC-450
The Mackie MC-450 is a headphone with an open design for a wide stereo image and improved comfort. Mackie also promises high dynamics, soft mids and rich detail. The model uses a 42 mm driver, has an impedance of 54 ohms and a dynamic range of 101 dB.
Scope of delivery
The scope of delivery includes three connection cables, which can be easily replaced using the bayonet lock:
- A 3 m long cable with fabric covering
- A 1.2 m long connection cable
- Another 1.2 m cable with volume control and microphone
All cables are equipped with a jack plug and a gold-plated mini jack adapter.
