Famed guitar amp maker Marshall has just unveiled another new home speaker model called Uxbridge. A Bluetooth 5.0 Alexa-controlled speaker, the Uxbridge is a handy size aimed at living rooms, kitchens and offices. If you fancy one of these, now is the time to get your order in: Marshall is giving away a free set of Marshall Major III Bluetooth headphones with every pre-order while stocks last.
Marshall Uxbridge
With a 30-Watt Class D amplifier for the woofer and tweeter, this little mono speaker has Alexa built-in, so you can use it with all the Amazon services and control any of your voice-activated equipment at home. It will integrate with your existing multi-room system, other Amazon Echos and supported Alexa-powered or Airplay 2-enabled speakers as well.
Marshall Voice App
The speaker uses the Marshall Voice App for control, letting you choose from several EQ presets or set up a custom 5-band EQ to your taste. The top panel includes controls for Volume, Bass, Treble, Play/Pause, Mute/unMute mic & push to talk. A Bluetooth pairing button is available on the rear of the speaker. A Bluetooth 5.0 speaker, the Uxbridge also works with Spotify Connect.
Marshall Major III Bluetooth Deal
The new Marshall Uxbridge speaker is now available to pre-order online and should be shipping by 8 April.
If you place your pre-order for one now, Marshall is offering a free set of Marshall Major III Bluetooth headphones worth GBP 129. That’s a nice bonus and makes this an attractive deal. The Marshall website states that the offer will be available while stocks last, so first come first served.
RRP: GBP 170 with free set of Major III Bluetooth headphones whilst stocks last.

One response to “More Marshall for your living room: The Uxbridge Bluetooth 5.0 speaker”
Hi Jef,
I’ve noticed that the Uxbridge Voice tends to favor the low-end with powerful bass, and I don’t mind that one bit. It’s surprising that a speaker this small can sound so impactful, but it does.
Best regards
James
