Ritmobox
AVP Synth keeps pumping out very cool analog synths from their base in Moscow. The Ritmobox is the latest box of bliss handmade and full of through-hole discrete components for an authentic analog sound like all those machines we loved from the 70s and 80s.
There are 5 channels of sound featuring 3 oscillator/noise generators (G1, G2 and G3) and then a closed and open hi-hat section. The generator sections have 8 parameters to play with and craft your sound. After pitch control you have a mix knob of the blend of oscillator and noise, then you’ve got a Sweep control over the tone, Pulse for the pulse volume, Decay and then a filter cutoff over the noise. The last two knobs control the internal LFO rate and depth. You can switch between high and low resonance versions for a softer or harsher sound. There’s a lot of crafting and sound design power over these generators.

The sequencer section has up to 16 steps with 8 steps available at a time on the front panel. You get a sequence for each channel and you can store up to 16 patterns.
Ritmobox is a very nice looking compact drum machine that has that genuine Soviet-Retro vibe that only the Russians can pull off.
