This nifty little black box can deliver up to 100 Watts of power – but isn’t much larger than your average stompbox. Harley Benton’s new GPA-100 power amp looks like a smart gigging tool, with enough power for most scenarios.

The GPA-100 is a little black box that features a single volume control and a three-band EQ that can boost or cut 12dB of bass, middle and treble. 100 Watts are on tap into 8 Ohms or 190 Watts into 4 Ohms, making the Harley Benton GPA-100 a neat proposition for lightweight, powerful gigging solutions, or a backup for your gig bag should your vintage tube amp pack up mid-gig.
It has three LEDs indicators which let you know if the unit is on, has signal and if you’re signal is peaking. Let’s face it, that’s all you really need from a power amp. Combine this with a decent pre-amp and you’ll have a mighty fine mini amp setup you could easily squeeze onto your pedalboard!

Flexible Solid State
The power available in the Class D circuit is enough to handle most gigs with ease. At this price point, picking up one of these is a no-brainer – even just as a backup. The last thing you want is your main amp dying in a puff of smoke with no fallback. This little fella could save the day. The price point is insanely good, and having a useable EQ section in a lightweight solid state amp like this is a bonus. Thumbs up.

Specs are not correct according the website from Thomann. It states 130 watt at 8 ohm and 210 watt at 4 ohm.
I received the specs straight from Harley Benton directly, so potentially Thomann could be incorrect?
