The End of 2020 nears, and so opens the fifth and last chapter of our Holiday Season Raffle! Our last prize is a pair of T8V monitors, ADAM Audio’s outstanding speakers aimed at project studios and home recording setups but giving the depth, clarity and balance of its S-series for an entry-level price.
ADAM Audio T8V
ADAM Audio is one of the world’s most respected manufacturers of loudspeaker systems for pro audio. In 2020 the Berlin-based company announced the T8V, a compact speaker that extended its T-series by adding a model with an 8-inch woofer to complement the 5- and 7-inch models already on the market. The bass response threshold beginning at 33 Hz must, surely, be unique for this price class (€299 MSRP). The generously proportioned woofer combines with the U-ART tweeter from ADAM Audio’s award-winning S-series for a very clear, balanced sound with plenty of bottom end. A Class D amplifier provides 70 Watts for the woofer and 20 Watts for the tweeter. And, of course, the T8V incorporates the U-ART ribbon tweeter design and HPS waveguide borrowed from the manufacturer’s S-series speakers.

Other features include a rear bass reflex opening, DSP-controlled crossovers, an equalizer and XLR/jack input connections. The T8V are proof that you can find excellent monitors at the lower end of the price spectrum. And now you can win a pair for your studio!

Only one comment is allowed per entrant, so please don’t post multiple times or we’ll have to disqualify you. Part 5 of our raffle closes Thursday, 24 December at 23:59:59 CET.

The minimum age for participation is 14 years. Participation is only allowed once – attempted multiple entries per competition automatically lead to disqualification. This raffle is for a pair of ADAM Audio T8V speakers.
All comments (here under this post, under the Instagram post for the raffle or under our Facebook post for this raffle) are collected. The Gearnews team will draw a random entry and the lucky winner will be notified by us. Employees of gearnews.com, the participating companies and their family members are excluded from participating in the competition.
Your data will only be stored within the framework of this competition and will not be passed on to third parties. Legal recourse is excluded and no cash alternatives to the prizes are offered. The prizes are not transferable. This competition, with a prize of a pair of ADAM Audio T8V speakers, runs from Friday, 11.12.2020 to Thursday, 24 December 2020 (23:59:59 hrs CET). I’ve been researching near field monitors to replace old home theater speakers I use for my home studio build in progress… My music-desk-space is limited and have been thinking where I can place near field monitors. I started looking into using wall mounts used for flatscreen TVs, or considering hanging a pair from ceiling rafters with cables, similar to live music setups. 8 inch woofers are the biggest I could go for. And I wouldn’t worry about getting a subwoofer.
