LA Circuits: Buchla styled Eurorack ready to launch
A range of strikingly designed Eurorack modules coming from LA Circuits who are unafraid to fill your entire rack with massive modules and massive functionality.
LA Circuits
They’ve been giving us glimpses of their modules over the last 12 months and they were undoubtedly hoping to release way before now as this teaser video from this time last year would suggest.

However, it looks like the time has finally come and with the release of the imposing Chronograph Sequential Rhythm Generator LA Circuits are announcing their arrival.
The look is stunningly Buchla and the vibe is firmly from the West Coast but beneath the surface the modules will be functionally familiar to most Eurorack users.
EM-6A Chronograph
The first release looks rather intimidating. The Sequential Rhythm Generator fills a whole row of Eurorack and offers 3 channels of 8-step CV generation that’s all out on the front panel. While playing 3 different tunes you can also pull out individual and summed triggers with individual trigger assignment and stage position control. It also features a sequential switch and polyrhythmic clock divider.
The Chronograph is available now for a very serious $1,800.
Other Modules
LA Circuits has a whole range of modules in production. These include the EM-801 Machinist Sample & Hold, EM-201 Moon Jock envelope, and EM-121 Supremist LFO.
Atomic Meddle
What’s not on the website yet is the intriguing Atomic Meddle. It’s another huge module and they call it s Stereo VCF Processing Station. It featured in the tease video (above) but here’s another glimpse of it in action.

They have a few interesting modules planned for this year including delays and filters which you’ll find on the “2021 Waitlist” page on their website.
This is all very interesting. It looks like early days for LA Circuits with only a handful of posts on social media and videos on YouTube but I hope they can pull it all together and get moving on these fabulous looking modules.
