Korg pushes out the sides of their Wavestate synthesizer to a player-friendly 61 keys, adds aftertouch, a pro feel and more sounds.

I’ve seen synth enthusiasts moan on the internet about the modest octave range of the Wavestate, Opsix and now the Modwave. It seems that for Korg appreciates that some people want more from a synthesizer like a greater range of movement and expression. Wavestate SE turns itself into a proper looking keyboard synthesizer.
It has a sort of classic digital synthesizer vibe to the shape while retaining the modern analogue approach to hands-on control. The interface has been upgraded with aluminium knobs and panels giving it a premium feel and making the original Wavestate seem a bit brash and childish.

Many of the new sounds take advantage of the aftertouch technology in the keyboard offering a lot more expression and opportunities for modulation.
Otherwise, as far as I can tell, it has the same wave sequencing engine of the Wavestate with all the Motion Sequencing and modulation. It looks like it’s in a very finished state but they are presenting it as a preview so I’m unsure of availability or pricing at this time.

My Korg have been busy… pretty amazing flow of new tech/gear – love how they can look to the analogue past and innovate new ideas, great stuff.
Será que ele tem um sequencer para gravar músicas ? Quantos layers ele posuui ? Na parte esquerda ( split ) quantos sons sobrepoim ? Aqueles sons de bandolins paletados e também ricos sons de corais para serem usados no aftertouch ?
Quanto ao wevestate se 61 seria bom se viesse com ritmos também ( styles ) , viesse com um arsenal de styles .
