Midiverse Modular launches with 3 Eurorack modules and a frame
Midiverse Modular kicks off their Eurorack module adventure with 3 classics: a Multiple, some Switches and some Attenuators. They also have a rackable frame to put them in.
Midiverse Modular
They’ve had a YouTube channel – Midiverse-TV – for a few years where they’ve looked at synths, DIY and other performance-related music technology. They’ve been working towards producing their own modules and are starting small with the basic utilities that all racks need.
- MVM001 – 4HP passive Multiple that can be used as a 1×6 or 2×3.
- MVM002 – 4HP passive Switches that offer 2 bi-direction manual switches.
- MVM003 – 6HP passive 3-channel Attenuators with normalised inputs for a bit of mixing.
They are also offering 19″ 84HP Eurorack frame kits in black or grey with 40 sliding nuts.
It’s a humble start but the minimal look and simple design appeals and as they’re passive they are not going to take up any power ports.
Midiverse Modular operate out of Ohio and are selling the modules via their Reverb store and currently only to the US until they can sort out shipping rates to elswhere. The Attenuators are $30, Switches $25 and Multiple $20 or you can buy all three for $60. The frames are $45.
