Twenty years of making dream guitars
John Petrucci and Ernie Ball Music Man are celebrating 20 years of making guitars together with the John Petrucci Honey Butter 20th Anniversary models. These special limited edition six- and seven-string versions of the Majesty and JP signature models are sure to be popular with fans of the Dream Theater guitarist.
Ernie Ball Music Man John Petrucci Honey Butter 20th Anniversary
2021 marks two decades of the John Petrucci and Ernie Ball Music Man collaboration. To commemorate this milestone, they are releasing limited edition runs of the JP and Majesty models, both six- and seven-string versions, in a Honey Butter finish. Each guitar also features a laser-etched anniversary tremolo backplate, a special logo, and Petrucci’s signature.
Honduran Mahogany
All models in this limited run have grain-filled Honduran mahogany and figured maple bodies, with grain-filled mahogany necks. The hardware is blacked-out with gold flourishes here and there, for example, on the pole-pieces for the pickups.
DiMarzio Loaded
The JP version has a DiMarzio Liquifire humbucker in the neck position paired with a DiMarzio Crunch Lab in the bridge, and a piezo bridge pickup. The Majesty version comes with a DiMarzio Rainmaker humbucker in the neck position, a DiMarzio Dreamcatcher in the bridge, along with the piezo bridge pickup system.
20th Anniversary
I’d imagine fans of Dream Theater and John Petrucci will be excited to see these 20th Anniversary Honey Butter models. And because they are are part of a limited run, if you want one you may want to hunt it down soon, as I suspect they will sell out pretty quickly. Each guitar also comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
RRP – 20th Anniversary JP USD 3799 for the six-string and USD 3999 seven-string. 20th Anniversary Majesty USD 3899 for the six-string and USD 4099 seven-string version.
