Two new models from Gretsch: the Streamliner Center Block and Center Block Jr P90s
New FideliSonic P90, Bigsby B70s and more!
Gretsch has announced two new Streamliner models, the Center Block and the Center Block Jr P90s. Both guitars feature a chambered spruce centre block and the newly designed FideliSonic P90 pickups.
Gretsch Streamliner Center Block
You can get the new Center Block and the smaller Center Block Jr P90s Gretsch models in both formats, with either a Gretsch V-Stoptail or a Bigsby tremolo tailpiece. The G2622T-P90 with the Bigsby B70 tremolo and G2622-P90 both have a laminated mahogany body with large f-holes and that chambered spruce centre block, a thin U-shaped set nato neck with aged white binding, and a 12” radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets.
The FideliSonic P90 pickups of this model are wired with individual volume controls for each pickup, plus a master tone control, master volume control and three-way selector switch. They are available in Havana Burst, Claret Burst, Forge Glow, Gunmetal and Brownstone finishes.

Gretsch Center Block Jr P90s
Next up you get the smaller-bodied Center Block Jr P90s which again has two models, G2655T-P90 and G2655-P90. Once more, the T in the name denotes it has a Bigsby B70 tremolo system. These slightly smaller models have a 14” laminated mahogany body, but the rest of the construction is exactly the same as their larger counterparts above, which includes the pickups and wiring.
Colours on offer include Mint Metallic, Sahara Metallic, Brownstone, Claret Burst and Two-Tone Midnight.
