Roland’s 909 Day is bombarding us all with more and more products to add to the new Katana amp range Boss are just announcing the new GT-1 Multi-FX pedal for guitarists.

COSM

Information at the time of writing is scarce, but we know for sure that the new GT-1 is based upon Boss’s popular COSM technology. It looks as though you can use it with your DAW as well, as the unit has USB connectivity.

Feature wise I expect it will have all the usual effects and hopefully it will integrate well with the new range of Katana amps that they are launching today as well.

Features?

The GT-1 looks to have three controls for setting various parameters. About seven buttons so that different effects can be selected, such as compressor, overdrive, distortion, preamp, modulation, delay and reverb. So the usual suspects. With the foot switches we reckon you’ll be able to also activate another tuner and a Phrase Looper.

The GT-1 can be run from four AA batteries or a 9V power supply.

We’ve added a few blurry shots of the live stream to give you an idea of what to expect.
