Aclam Guitars Go Rocky Go: Beatles Vox Conqueror in a pedal
With artwork inspired by George Harrison's iconic "Rocky" Stratocaster
Aclam Guitars has announced the release of “Go Rocky Go,” a new pedal designed to replicate the distinctive preamp of the legendary Vox Conqueror amplifier.
Go Rocky Go
Aclam Guitars Go Rocky Go is the latest pedal in their ongoing series of effects that recreate iconic guitar tones.
This new pedal aims to deliver the sought-after tones heard on classic Beatles albums such as “Magical Mystery Tour” and “The White Album.”
Vox Conqueror
Drawing inspiration from a meticulously restored and analyzed vintage Vox Conqueror, serial number 2004, the Go Rocky Go pedal faithfully recreates the amp’s clean Brilliant channel.
It also features the Conqueror’s built-in distortion, known for its vintage fuzzy character, and the signature M.R.B. (Mid-Range Boost) circuit.
Modern Upgrades
To enhance its functionality for modern musicians, Aclam has incorporated several key upgrades. Notably, the pedal includes a “Crunch mode,” which adds a subtle overdrive to the clean signal, with an internal control to adjust the gain.
An independent distortion volume control allows users to balance the clean and distorted levels or boost the distortion for added impact. The pedal also boasts a wide voltage range, operating from 9V to 18V, with higher voltages providing increased headroom and output.
Switching
The pedal features two multifunction footswitches that provide access to four distinct functions: bypass, distortion, M.R.B., and crunch mode. Aclam has also implemented ultra-silent switching to eliminate unwanted clicks and pops during performance.
George Harrison
Visually, the pedal pays homage to George Harrison’s iconic “Rocky” Stratocaster with its custom artwork.
Additionally, it integrates Aclam’s Smart Track Fastening System, making it compatible with the company’s adhesive-free pedalboards.
This new pedal follows Aclam’s established methodology of closely studying original units, as seen in their previous preamp recreations, such as Dr. Robert, The Mocker, and The Windmiller.

Pricing & Availabiity
It is priced at $315.00 / £297.00 / 349.00€, which is in line with the previous pedals in this series, and available here at Thomann.
