Alesis Nitro Pro XL and Nitro Amp: Upgrades for the E-Drum Series
Bigger drum kit and drum amp!
[October 29, 2024] Alesis has just introduced the Alesis Nitro Pro XL, a slightly bigger e-Drum kit. They’ve also released the Nitro Amp, an e-drum Amp with plenty of sonic might.
The Nitro Series
Nitro Pro XL and Nitro Amp
With the new Pro XL, you get everything the Nitro Pro has. You also get one additional drum and one additional rubber cymbal. This model also comes with 36 factory kits from the legendary BFD range, 16 customizable kits with 500 sounds and a 90-day subscription for Drumeo.
What’s more exciting is the Nitro Amp, a dedicated e-drum amp. It comes with a three-inch full-range driver, a 70-watt class-d amp, and controls to adjust the volume on the front. The drum amp can be mounted directly onto the drum rack.
The new Alesis Nitro Pro XL is available at Thomann* for 849 euros, while the Nitro Amp goes for 98 euros*.
[September 17, 2024] Alesis tops out its Nitro range with the Nitro Pro, an e-Drum kit that packs an explosive punch without shattering your bank balance!
It’s sometimes difficult to choose an e-Drum kit that combines both great value and great sound in a single package, but Alesis have become masters of that art over the years. They consistently deliver a range of kits that tick both those boxes and then some.
The Alesis Nitro Pro
The brand-new Alesis Nitro Pro continues that tradition with aplomb, giving users a traditional 5-drum, three-cymbal experience married to a flexible and great-sounding module, all of which is mounted on a sturdy steel rack. Everything is attached to that rack via reinforced mounts that also allows for full-size kit spacing.
What You Get
Taking over from the Nitro Max, the Pro now features a 10″ dual-zone deep mesh snare. This is in addition to three 8″ dual-zone mesh head toms and an 8″ mesh kick drum that is compatible with double-kick pedals for those speed drummers amongst you!
Cymbals are covered by 10″ hi-hat, ride and crash units, all with choke functionality. Also included in the box are all required cables, a pair of drumsticks, a drum key and a power supply. You also get a 90 day subscription to the online educational tool, Drumeo, as well as a copy of BFD Player and an expansion pack to broaden your palette of sounds outside of the box.
A kick drum and hi-hat pedal are both supplied.
ThePro Drum Module
Talking of the “box”, the Pro module is a rather slick-looking and compact unit, finished off in a gorgeous deep red. It features a very useful built-in stand that allows you to safely mount your phone or tablet, all important for using that free Drumeo subscription!
The Nitro Pro drum module features 36 factory kits with the ability to add 16 of your own design. There are over 500 sounds on-board for you to choose from or you can use its MIDI connectivity to hook up to your computer and make use of the included BFD Player application. There are also plenty of built-in play-along tracks, a sequencer, metronome and recorder.
The Alesis Nitro Pro is available now for just €799.
