All About Algoriddim Djay Pro
Algoriddim’s DJay Now Available for Meta Quest VR Headsets
It was only a matter of time before Algoriddim’s Djay was released for Meta Quest headsets. With the version for Apple Vision Pro, the successful DJ software has already been adapted for VR platforms. With the brand new version, all Meta Quest 2, 3, 3S and Pro users can now mix music on virtual decks.
The VR app even supports hand gestures to control the three-dimensional turntables and trigger additional effects. And of course, the DJ software is designed so that you don’t necessarily need any skills to create a mix.
Algoriddim Djay for Meta Quest supports pass-through mode, allowing you to become a DJ in a mixed reality environment. Alternatively, you can choose from virtual environments ranging from an intimate club to a large arena. Or how about a lounge, a balloon, a skate park, a volcano or outer space? The environment even reacts dynamically to your performance!
The planned integration of MIDI controllers is really cool. These will need to be connected to the Meta Quest models via USB, of course. There is a long list of supported controllers and all current models are included. More information can be found on the manufacturer’s website.
The music itself can come either from the Meta Quest’s internal memory or from streaming services such as Apple Music, TIDAL, SoundCloud, Beatport or Beatsource.
That’s all you need to know. You can find the app here in the Meta Store for €19.99. And there’s more information here on the manufacturer’s website. Enough writing, I’m off to enter virtual reality!
Algoriddim Djay Pro 5.2: New updates make this the best DJ app you’re sleeping on
[03 July 2024] Algoriddim Djay Pro 5.2 gets enhanced hardware integration and support, Windows ARM64 availability and so much more.
Algoriddim Djay Pro 5
When it comes to DJ software, it’s basically a back-and-forth between rekordbox and Serato, with Traktor coming in just behind. There’s another, though. One that doesn’t get nearly as much love as these three when it really deserves to: Algoriddim Djay Pro.
Algoriddim Pro is available across a variety of platforms, including Mac, Windows, iOS, Android and even Apple Vision Pro. Want to mix on your iPhone? You can – and professionally too. It’s pretty remarkable all that Djay Pro can do. It’s even won the Apple Design Award – three times!
Algoriddim Djay Pro 5.2
Algoriddim Djay Pro recently got a big update, bringing it up to version 5.2. This update adds a whole clutch of useful new features, enhancements and bug fixes across the spectrum.
More Hardware Support
One issue that many users had was lack of plug-and-play integration with their chosen hardware. Algoriddim has now expanded the list of compatible devices. You can check this link to see all of them but a few highlights include Reloop Mixtour Pro, Djay Control Vinyl and MWM Phase Essential, a crazy device that lets you mix on turntables with no needles.
Crossfader Fusion
Algoriddim Djay Pro features a cool effect called Crossfader Fusion, which adds transition effects to volume crossfades. With 5.2, you can now use all Crossfader FX including Neural Mix-based crossfader curves with external hardware mixers and controllers. Super cool.
It also adds a new Crossfader FX called Drum Cut, which lets you mix and scratch tracks without clashing harmonies.
ARM Yourself, Android
Algoriddim’s DJ app is now compatible with ARM64 Windows machines. It “fully leverages the Neural Processing Unit to power groundbreaking features like its industry-leading Neural Mix stem separation, developed in close collaboration with AudioShake, at the highest quality and blazing processing speed,” says the website.
Android users can now stream Beatport and Beatsource as well.
Price and Availability
Algoriddim Djay Pro 5.2 is now available. The update is free for users of version 5. The application has a number of subscription price points for the different versions.

One response to “Algoriddim Djay Pro for Meta Quest: DJing in VR!”
A cool first step, but we need full pro and 4 decks mode. In a few years when the headset hopyfully is just a pair of glasses then we are on big time, would love to have full light and visuals control in AR next to my decks on a gig
