Allen & Heath Avantis SOLO: A new standard for smaller venues?
With the Allen & Heath Avantis Solo digital console, you get the same 64-channel and 42-bus mixing system as the larger Avantis, but at roughly half its size.
Smaller venues, festivals, production companies, and touring artists will be thrilled to have similar functionality in a far more compact and easily transportable form factor.

The interface is made up of a 15.6-inch touchscreen, 12 faders, and a range of dedicated buttons and controls for operation including rotary controls and 18 assignable pads, all linked via Continuity UI.
With 6 fader banks, you can quickly access 72 channel strips and the extensive integrated DSP is accompanied by twelve RackExtra FX slots.
On the rear panel, you have the basic analogue and digital I/O, with AES/EBU, Wordclock, SLink, and Network I/O. Then there are two slots for additional dLive/Avantis I/O modules using formats such as Dante, gigaACE, Waves, and MADI.
With the SLink port, you can connect to the Everything I/O, Allen & Heath’s system for remote expansion, as well as the ME Personal Mixing System.
A range of effects is included, plus the Automatic Mic Mixing (AMM), and the RTA Engine from Allen & Heath. What’s more, you get RF integration developed with Sennheiser and Shure.
By upgrading with the dPack, you’ll get features from the dLive series, including up to 16 instances of the Dyn8 dynamics processing engine, the Dual Stage Valve preamplifier, and DEEP compressors and expanders.
Online control and offline editing are made possible with the Avantis Director software, while the MixPad app allows you to mix wirelessly. Meanwhile, the OneMix iOS can help you create personal monitor mixes.
