Apogee Symphony Studio
The new 24-bit 192 kHz Apogee Symphony Studio series consists of 3 distinctly purposed models, all with USB-C connectivity. Starting from the bottom, the 8×8 version offers a flexible recording and monitoring solution for recording artists and producers.
For those looking to break into immersive mixing for the first time, the 2×12 version supports up to 7.1.4 Atmos configurations. Finally, the flagship 8×16 is equipped for up to 9.1.6 Atmos setups, meeting the standards of most industry professionals.
Although the I/O configuration changes with each of the three Symphony Studio models, many great features are common across all of them. This includes transparent mic preamps with up to 75 dB of gain as well as an onboard DSP monitor calibration system with EQ, delay, and low-end management functions.
Meanwhile, the Apogee Control 2 software allows the management of different monitor workflows and there are DSP systems for both the input and output signal paths. Overall, the Symphony Studio range provides a good balance of convenient user-friendly, and industry-compliant features with Apogee’s renowned audio quality.

Apogee sent out all these “today is your absolute last day to trade in your gear and upgrade to Symphony MKII” email spam last week. And then announce new gear after tricking everyone into buying old stuff. Real scumbag business.
