Apple releases Logic Pro 10.7.5 update with some long-awaited features
Logic Pro 10.7.5 is here along with Mainstage 3.6.2. and Garageband 10.4.7, all optimized for macOS Ventura.
It’s important to note Apple explicitly states in the release notes that you should, “make sure to back up the currently installed version of the Logic Pro application and your Logic Pro projects” before you install the update.
New features in Logic Pro 10.7.5
Some of the notable improvements include Ableton Link support. Collaboration across multiple DAWs is an area where improvements are always welcome, and now you can sync the beat, phase, and tempo of Link-activated apps on the same system or via a network. Playback can also be synced across multiple devices which allows easy jamming with other instruments.
When it comes to recording, there are some new developments that add flexibility for those who want to make music without the limitation of the grid of a DAW. Free Tempo Recording now allows you to work without a metronome, which can lead to a more organic overall feel.
Another exciting new introduction is the fact that you can now add the 35 stompboxes from Pedal Board as individual plug-ins. Although this might not change much sound-wise, it certainly makes things more streamlined when you want to pull up your favourite effects pedals.
The Logic Pro 10.7.5 update also comes with two additional sound packs, including Beat Tape (Hip Hop) and Modular Rhythms (Synth Drums). This gives both new and experienced users some fresh new sounds to inspire the creative process and expand your library.
Apart from the new Gain tool, for doing quick edits of individual region gain, Logic now supports 32-bit float file importing which is certainly something that has been a long time coming.
Pricing and Availability:

It’ll be more interesting if the add the ability to manually organize the mix window.
I like the the thought of collaboration with live, however when will Abelton be M1 compliant??
since this release I have major issues with the delay compensation . I can’t play any VI without missive delay . This used to work perfectly …
