Argo Boost Deluxe: Mythos Collab with That Pedal Show
Two-in-one boost / octave pedal...
The Argo Boost Deluxe from Mythos is a new boost pedal, built in collaboration with Mick Taylor from the popular YouTube channel, That Pedal Show.
Mythos Argo Boost Deluxe
Having dropped today, say hello to this new pedal that allows players to work with octave fuzz sounds along with a clean channel. However, if you set the fuzz control nice and low, the Argo Boost Deluxe will act as a handy booster pedal.
Crucially, this is a development of the original Argo pedal. This time, we can ‘change lanes’ thanks to the big red boost dial! Allowing you to use the boost portion of the circuit by itself.
Additional controls include your fuzz, blend, boost and bright switch. Naturally, a true bypass is available with the footswitch, and you get twin LEDs to indicate which circuit of the pedal you’re using.
That Pedal Show
Mick from the popular YouTube channel, That Pedal Show, insists that this two-in-one pedal came into existence by accident! He’s used the clean octave version, but now this revised Argo Boost Deluxe will be a new staple on his pedal board.

Within the pedal, you’ll find a HIGHS switch that opens the additional sounds that you can get. Mick’s intention was to make the boost section brighter without changing the overall sound. Overall, this new switch is off all of the time, unless you change it.
Once activated, it adds some nice treble in the boost mode without changing the octave fuzz.
Pricing and Availability
You can order one of these from *Thomann right away, although it doesn’t look like they’ll be shipped for 4/5 weeks. From a price point, it’s certainly at the premium end of the scale, but isn’t going to break the bank overall.
