Ashdown RB-800: Powerful Signature Amp from Pantera’s Rex Brown
The top unit delivers a mighty 800 watts, comes with a five-band EQ (!), two drive levels (input signal and output signal) that emulate tube warmth, and a compressor. Truly a stunner! It also features the Sub Harmonic Generator known from Ashdown’s amps.

This produces undertones instead of overtones, i.e. subharmonic tones that make the bass signal sound even more compressed at the bottom. The rear panel features two 4-ohm SpeakOn outputs, an FX loop, a headphone output, an input for the optional foot switch, and an additional line input.

The Ashdown RB-800 also features an “Analog Cab SIm DI” output that can be connected directly to an in-ear monitoring system.
Micro-Killer and Studio 4: Battery-Powered Mini-amps
Unlike the RB-800, the Micro Killer and Studio 4 are tiny. Both are designed for portability and pedestrian areas. The Micro Killer delivers 3 watts of power, offers Bluetooth connectivity, a headphone output, an extension out port for connecting the amp to cabs, and a 9-volt battery.

The 1-kg mini amp also comes with a one-knob EQ to attenuate highs or lows. The Micro-Killer costs €86.95. The Studio 4 mini bass amp is also designed for portable use. Three-band EQ, four-inch speaker, one kilogram in weight – you can go a long way with that!

This compact amplifier also has an MSRP of €86.95. The manufacturer has not yet specified the battery life.
…und a fridge?!
If you want to experience your love of Ashdown bass amps and cabs every day at home and are also an die-hard fan of the brand, now you can! At breakfast, for your desert, and the after-work drink!

The manufacturer offers two fridges: one in the design of an Ashdown ABM and one in the look of a legendary Tweed Bass. Unfortunately, no details about environmental sustainability are available on the website, but the look is really something special! Each of the two amps is priced at €501.95.
