Now available for order, the Audix OMX series includes three models of dynamic vocal mics, each with characteristics to suit your voice.

The specialist microphone manufacturer Audix is known for building quality microphones for stage and studio use, carefully designed and created in the USA, we can expect excellent audio quality across its entire range.

As we’ve mentioned, the OMX series adds three new models to the popular OM range of vocal stage mics. As each one has been designed with different characteristics, you can make your choice of the one that best suits your voice and vocal delivery style.

Like the OM family, the OMX series also features all-metal body construction and uses Audix’s VLM (Very Low Mass) technology in the capsule designs, with a flat-top grille to help you get the hang of the optimal vocal delivery technique.

In addition, the OMX series also offers excellent isolation through the off-axis rejection, making them resistant to feedback in the high-SPL sound environments experienced on stage.

  • OMX-T: For vocalists who use a close-mic technique.
  • OMX-M: Features an enhanced midrange, ideal for vocalists who use a close-mic technique.
  • OMX-E: For singers who use both close and ranged mic techniques.

Another available microphone from Audix is the PDX520 dynamic broadcast microphone. Aimed at content creation and home recording, the PDX520’s cardioid pattern and internal vibration-dampening system are designed to capture the realism of your voice even in untreated acoustic spaces.

Unlike the SM7B, there’s no need for a preamp or Cloudlifter to boost your gain, and there are also two switches to activate the low-cut filter or the presence boost mode so you can customize the response for a wide range of voices.
