Austrian Audio OC-S10
The OC-S10 is an ultra-clean modern-sounding large-diaphragm condenser designed to capture lead vocals at the most exceptional quality with the utmost detail. Using a specially sourced “free floating” CKR12 capsule, the magic of the OC-S10 comes from what Austrian Audio refers to as “an Open Acoustics Technology approach“.
When combined with the forward-thinking low-noise electronic circuitry within the OC-S10, this allows sound sources to be captured without any internal obstructions within the structure of the mic. Moreover, it provides a platform to capture every extent of the detail of a vocal or solo instrument performance.
The OC-S10 is everything you’d expect from a microphone in this price range, its stately black metal casing just oozes class. On the mic’s front panel, you have access to all the essential settings, such as the low-cut filter, pad, and the various pickup patterns.
