Behringer levels up the K2 with some kind of Warp Drive
Remember the “Warp Drive” ruse Behringer they used on the Model D to introduce the Poly D? Well, they’re at it again but this time it’s the K2 MS-20 clone.
Level Two
A more subdued tease campaign this time around with only a video scheduled to premiere tomorrow (which is live now – see below). Although they’ve tried to hide the synth that’s being levelled up it’s clearly the K2 because, well, because it is, because you can see it. All right, here’s the two together with the brightness enhanced:
The comments section is already alive with people moaning about the lack of true polyphony on the Poly D or getting very excited about the possibility of an evolved MS-20 clone. Along with the usual bunch of “where’s my UB-Xa or CS-80?” type comments vainly shouting into the ether. We’re all so hard done by.
Update: And as predicted it was just a tease of a tease and so we’ve learned nothing new – nice Superboothing Behringer.
And there’s another tease video online now that has Anna opening a box a little bit and hearing some jazzy music. I think it’s a clone of the Emu Carnival – awesome! Although there is another box she puts to one side so perhaps there are two things coning.
