Even more Behringer Synths now Available at a Lower Price!
[03 November 2024] Like the Model D before, other Behringer synths have had their prices slashed without notice and for no apparent reason. The Kobol Expander, the Solina String Ensemble and the Toro bass synthesizer have also been “affected” by the price cut. Of course, this should provide some potential buyers with a good argument to act now – while the Behringer synths are still in stock and available.
Behringer Synths Prices Drop Significantly
Over the past few months, Behringer synthesizer prices in Europe have dropped significantly, following the significant changes in the US market last summer. Most recently, the price of the popular Behringer Model D was reduced to an all-time low of 199 Euros. This development is part of a larger wave of price reductions that has now reached the European market, affecting numerous models.
The Kobol Expander, inspired by the rare RSF Kobol Expander from 1979, is now available at a lower price. The price is now down to 180 Euros, a small but significant reduction. The Behringer Solina String Ensemble, a replica of the 1974 ARP Solina String Ensemble, has also been significantly reduced in price and now costs only 222 Euros, about 25 percent less than before.
UB-Xa and More: Price Update Now Available in Europe
The price reductions apply not only to monophonic and duophonic synthesizers, but also to more complex models. The UB-Xa, Behringer’s polysynthesizer recreation of the Oberheim OB-Xa, has dropped from its original summer price of €1,299 to €975. The price of the desktop version, the UB-Xa D, has also been adjusted and is now 819 Euros. The Toro synthesizer, a tribute to the 1975 Moog Taurus rev1, has also become cheaper. Its price has dropped by 11 percent to 177 Euros.
Either way, today’s prices are a great opportunity for many musicians to get new sounds and expanded capabilities without having to dig deep into their pockets. Behringer’s wide range of synthesizers, from models such as the Model D and Toro to complex devices such as the UB-Xa, offers the right solution for different sound preferences and applications.
Synthesizer fans benefit
Reactions to this development may be polarized within the synthesizer community. While some see the lower prices as an opportunity to get professional sounds, others may wonder how sustainable these price cuts are. The fact is that Behringer’s strategic price adjustments once again underscore how serious the company is about providing affordable and powerful equipment for sound artists.

when can we get an update on the development of the Behringer CS80? Behringer was stating that they were on going with the R&D of the instrument but wouldn’t give any time frame as to when this would be accomplished. Also, Behringer stated that the PPG wave was finished and being sent out for beta testing. That was 6 months ago. When will we hear anything about the PPG and the CS80?????
check out Patch Dog on youtube, he’s the guy doing most of Behringers demo videos. He just got his PPG
If you wanted modern retro 10 years ago, how fantastic would you think Nov 2024 is? 808, 909, 303, OBX etc at prices you can’t really believe. If I had the space, I’d probably buy all of those Behringer modules now, though I’d first have to mug Uli to get the money for ’em. As good as his word, Uli, so far, really has provided some fine retro remakes at affordable prices, and right on time too, as hardware is back.
Wow great prices, are people getting fed up with all that nostalgia? Hope for more original designs, love my Neutron
Try to sell Behringer stuff second hand, you will loose half from the new price. That good is their stuff…
But you saved 90% by buying it instead of the original option. So… what’s your complaint? How much did you really loose [sic]?
Doesn’t change a thing about the instant devaluation of Behringer products while the original synths keep their value. Again, that good is Behringer’s stuff…
Well, I got my TR 808 for 100 USD in the early 90s, so wait a few years after they are discontinued and you will have mad second hand prices even on Behringer 😅
Pretty sure when the 808 was released and you would have sold it a month later that the price wouldn’t have dropped 50%, nor with a Jupiter 8. I’m not talking about 10 years later after their release. All beside the point replies. Behringer is like the Deutsche Mark against the US Dollar in 1923.
Everything except Gibson guitars ‘instantly devalues immediately after purchase. That’s the world. Not sure you really get the point of ‘budget-oriented’ gear. Why do you feel entitled to have it both ways? And how is this different from when the “originals” were released? A little ‘history’ lesson for you, since you seem to be young…. In 1985, with my high school graduation gift money, I bought a guitar. At this store, if you bought anything over $400, [for a limited time only!] they gave you a free synthesizer—a Roland SH-101. This thing had such little value, brand new, that they were giving them away. Do you think it would have had any value on the resale market after I had it in my hands for a month? No one appreciated it until almost a decade later. Same will happen with Behringers. Short term underappreciation and saturation, then long term valuation. IF the kids will want to deal with anything other than AI in the future…. Actually touching an instrument might be entirely passé.
There are tons of budget-oriented synths that don’t loose their value as fast as Behringer. Like I said in my first comment, that good is their stuff… All the rest is near the point.
50% though, what country are you in? I never find any second hand below like 25%. At least their synthesizers, the mixers on the other hand you get for free from random people on the street hehe
Please, don’t complain about hardware synths that are cheaper than the VST counterfeits 😉
The beauty of Behringer synths is that they are cheaper than a tank of gas (at least in EU).
No moaning here. Behringer makes mostly great repros at mostly great prices. It’s a fine time to like synths and drum machines.
