Behringer WING to be released early as the industry rolls their eyes
They are such a bunch of silly wags. Oh, Behringer, you are outrageous with your teasing bits of nonsense.
First Behringer sent out an apology about not being able to reveal WING on the 22nd November as promised and then they followed it up with another announcement that they are going to do it 5 days earlier instead! On a Sunday? Oh, how we laughed, how we rolled about in that mixture of disappointment and jubilation. My day started in misery at the news of delay to the most anticipated product in the last 30 years of music technology and then after breakfast it was like a whole new world of opportunity opened up before me as my heart pounded and the adrenaline started to pump with relief at how it was just a little joke, just a gag for fun.
I’m an emotional wreck but that’s ok because we’re now only 2 days away from the big reveal. I’m not going to be able to sleep or eat for fear that they might take it away again. Or worse, maybe they’ve revealed it already and just not told anyone. But how, how could they be so cruel? Would they do that? Would they remove the one thing that gets me up in the morning for my daily check on my various Behringer feeds? Would they dangle something so delicious in front of us and then snatch it away just as you’re about to take a bite? And then stuff you with cake as an apology? Why? Why!? And where’s my Jupiter 8 clone?
This is too much excitement, too much possibility for my little heart to bear. I might have to go and have a little lie down somewhere.
