The Booooom/Blast 2.0 has been announced by Gone Fishing Effects on Instagram. This limited run of Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil signature pedal will be up for pre-order on 30 November.
Booooom/Blast 2.0
The signature Booooom/Blast 2.0 distortion/fuzz box is available once more, as a limited to only 200 units worldwide. Designed by Gone Fishing Effects for Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil, I guess it will sell out very quickly, just like the first run did in November 2020.

Drive & Fuzz
Each pedal has a peach colour on the minimal enclosure and is labelled 2.0. As with the original version, this pedal has controls labelled Stink, Jaggy and Bang on the Booooom (drive) half of the unit. These control gain, tone and volume, respectively. On the Blast/fuzz side of the pedal, you get Syrup/gain and Stress/volume dials.

A Sell Out Design
The design is a collaboration with Simon’s guitar tech and Gone Fishing Effects founder, Richard “Churd” Pratt, and I think it will be popular with Biffy Clyro fans. The last run in 2020 sold out in under 2 hours! Each pedal comes signed and hand-painted by Simon Neil, and will include a hand-written thank you note as well.
