Blackstar Debut 30E: Bridging the gap between 10E and 50R
30-watts, ISF and a tape delay!
Blackstar’s Debut series has been quite the success story. After first introducing the practice amps 10E and 15E in 2020 and the 50R just last year, now comes the Blackstar Debut 30E. It’s packed with all the features Blackstar fans have come to love and expect from the series. ISF Tone Control seamlessly blending various amp tone and two voicings for all the tonal versatility you need. This 30-watt amp seems to bridge the gap between practice amp and stage-ready.
Blackstar Debut 30E: 30 watts, beginner-friendly, stage-ready
While 30 watts might not be as powerful as Blackstar’s recently released 50R, a 50-watt 1 x 12 combo, the Blackstar Debut 30E might cover the perfect middle ground between neighbour-friendly practice amp and stage-ready amp. It comes with two switchable channels, like the other amps from the Debut series: Clean and Overdrive.
Overall, this 1 x 10 combo, which comes in a Cream/Oxblood or black finish, can be used equally at home for practicing purposes, in your rehearsal room, or on small stages. Its dedicated headphone output means you won’t annoy your sensitive neighbor.
Footswitch-able channels and a Tape Delay
When you’re on stage, you’ll need the most effortless and cost-effective way to switch effects or change sound settings, which, for guitarists, is usually a footswitch. Blackstar Debut 30E offers this connectivity to easily switch between Clean and Overdrive.
The Debut 30E also offers controls for input levels (gain) and output levels, a three-band EQ with separate dials for low, mid, and high frequencies, and knobs for Blackstar’s proprietary ISF and the speed of the included digital delay. With ISF you seamlessly blend between British and American tonal characteristics. With the “Time” parameter, you set the delay’s rate.
How much is the Blackstar Debut 30E?
The Blackstar Debut 30E will soon be available at Thomann. Other retailers have listed it at £196.00 / $209.99.
