Bogren Digital AmpKnob RevC offers one knob to rule them all!
Based on the RevC version of Mesa/Boogie's Dual Rectifier
Bogren Digital’s AmpKnob RevC plugin is based on the classic RevC version of Mesa/Boogie’s Dual Rectifier. Offering guitarists and engineers a quick and simple way to get a massive guitar tone in their DAW.
AmpKnob RevC
Do you like crushing guitar tones? If so, then the new AmpKnob RevC plug-in by Bogren Digital is probably for you. This simple to use plug-in works within your chosen DAW and literally has one knob to control it with.
“Where most other amp sim plugins give their users myriads of options that can be distracting and inhibit creativity, the AmpKnob RevC is equipped with a single control – the Gain knob,”
“Everything else has been taken care of by Jens Bogren. With Jens’ decades of recording experience [which includes credits with Amon Amarth, Sepultura, Arch Enemy and loads more] poured into the sound design, users can focus entirely on their creativity.” – Bogren Digital
Other than the single control, you have a bypass switch and a massive LED indicator to let you know that it is engaged. Plus, simple Input and Output levels.
TubeScreamer?
Somewhere in the modelling/code Bogren Digital has also emulated a TubeScreamer type pedal to give the virtual amp tone a slight kick. There are no extra controls for this, but you can hear it adding a tighter low end response for the amp.
