This circuit mirrors the characteristics of your amp, ensuring that you always get the most authentic tone and lively response, even when connected via line out or directly to a speaker.

The Core also offers a host of recording features that deliver studio-quality output. New features such as Air Feel, Cabinet IR, and Mix Assist optimize the sound of your recordings for professional results an. Air Feel creates a natural ambiance or “amp-in-the-room” tone that makes your sound less cold and direct.

The Reactive Drive power amp allows you to maintain full dynamics even at low volumes. The Waza Expander Core supports tube amps up to 100 watts (note: Mesa Boogie Dual/Triple Rectifiers are not supported).

User-IRs and more

The Boss Waza Tube Amp Expander Core features a built-in 30-watt reactive power amplifier with continuous attenuation, allowing you to customize the sound to your liking. The Mix Assist function optimizes the sound for various recording, mixing, and mastering applications. In addition, the 22 miked cabinet emulations (including some popular Celestion Digital IRs) expand your sonic possibilities.

Additionally, the Waza Tube Amp Expander offers 64 user IR slots for mono and stereo WAV files at up to 32-bit floating point/96 kHz resolution. You can choose from five selectable microphone types and even mix two combinations.

The Waza Expander Core offers customizable stereo effects, such as compression, delay, reverb, and parametric and graphic EQ. With 10 rig settings, you can save your favorite sounds for quick access. Dedicated software is also available to make audio editing and IR loading easier. You also get a MIDI input and a mono FX loop with an adaptable input level.

Boss is also releasing six 10-foot-long instrument cables in different colors. The BIC series is available in black, orange, yellow, red, blue, and green. Each color variant is inspired by an existing Boss pedal. And each cable is available at Thomann* for 24.90 euros.
