C2MIDI Pro – Not Just a Cable

This is absolutely, categorically NOT just a regular MIDI cable. First up, it functions as a USB-C to 5pin DIN MIDI interface. But take those 5pin MIDI plugs and connect two MIDI devices with them and the cable then functions as a MIDI Filter, router and mapper.

The magic lies in the little black box at the end of the cable. Housing the retractable USB-C plug, it also contains a 32bit processor and a high speed optocoupler that can handle any MIDI message at high speed with, CME claim, 100% accuracy. No latency, no jitter and no drop outs.

The Kitchen Sink

You can throw anything at this, including clock, sysex, MTC and MPE. It will handle it all with ease. And configuring your C2MIDI Pro cable is done with consummate ease by using the free app which comes in Windows, macOS, iOS and Android versions.

Want to sync two devices but filter out note info and just keep the clock signal? C2MIDI can do that! Map MIDI settings so that any knob, button or slider can send whatever MIDI message you like. The processor unit draws its power from the MIDI out or USB port, depending on how you connect it and the cable is a very healthy two metres long. Firmware upgrades can happen via USB and the whole thing is plug and play, no drivers required!
