MACH100: Twin Channel and more
The MACH100 is a twin-channel amp that can operate in stereo. According to Carvin, it can drive two guitar cabinets at either 16, 8 or 4 ohm impedances!
It has just one control knob labelled Level for master volume adjustment. The built in mute footswitch lets you, surprisingly, mute the output instantly. Plus it has a very handy line in jack so you could, for example, play a backing track through it as well. On top of this you also get a Phones output that allows you to monitor the amp output on a 3.5 mm stereo jack.
The unit comes with its own dedicated AC power adapter included in the price delivering the necessary 24 V. I can see this pedal being useful in many applications when you’re reducing your rig to the smallest dimensions possible. It could also be a great backup system for gigging musicians when combined with a preamp pedal.
