This Charvel Super Stock SC1 boasts high-performance attributes such as a Floyd Rose bridge, locking nut and super distortion pickups. Contrasted beautifully with the aged alder body.
Charvel Super Stock SC1 HSH FR RW AA
Well, another release with a catchy name! This Charvel Super Stock is a brand new super Strat, perfect for your 80s lead lines.
With a distressed alder body, we’ve got a bolt-on maple neck complete with a rosewood fingerboard. The white fret inlays match the aged Arctic white finish, at least where you can see it anyway!
Matching the front and rear, we’ve got a tasty burgundy Tortoiseshell pickguard and backplate. Throughout, you’ll find chrome hardware and Charvel-branded die-cast machine heads.
Floyd Rose Nut and Trem
A high-performance model, think of it as a sleeper car. Battered exterior, with a highly tuned engine. Visually, we can see matching Floyd Rose components. Namely, the Floyd Rose 1000 series locking nut and the recessed 1000 series double-locking tremolo. Divebombs anyone?
With a fret radius of 305mm – 406mm and a scale length of 25.51 inches, you’ll be able to run up and down the 22 frets all day. Also helping with speed are the lightweight .009 nickel-plated strings.
With a 5-way pickup selector working with master volume and tone knobs, you’ll have lightwork switching between the DiMarzio pickups. We’ve got:
- Bridge: DiMarzio Super Distortion DP100 Humbucker
- Middle: 1 DiMarzio Dark Matter 2 Single Coil
- Neck: 1 DiMarzio PAF Pro DP151 Humbucker
Pricing and Availability
You can add this to your basket right away over at *Thomann. However, it doesn’t look like it’ll be arriving in the post until early February. However, as an outright shredding machine with stressed visuals, this is a cool little number.
