A couple of weeks ago an image appeared on the internet that leaked the forthcoming Komplete 11 and Komplete Ultimate 11 from Native Instruments (you can read about that here). Native Instruments had a deal on the version 10 that ended on the 31st July and so I’ve been scanning the web this morning for more details of the new version 11 which one could have assumed would be released today. There’s nothing on the NI website, in fact Komplete is no longer listed at all. However, it’s just popped up on UK computer and audio gear retailer Scan.co.uk. Update: Scan have since taken their Komplete 11 page offline – it seems as though someone has slipped up somewhere…

It’s listed as “pre order” but otherwise lists the entire specs of Komplete 11 and Komplete Ultimate 11.

Komplete 11

Containing 45 products, over 13,000 sounds and 155GB of instruments and effects it’s quite a bundle. They’ve added Reaktor 6, Una Corda, India, Replika, Strummed Acoustic and Kinetic Metal to the content of version 10. There’s one new instrument which is a synthesizer called “Form” which, they say, transforms the space between sampling and synthesis. The full details are listed below.

Komplete Ultimate 11

Containing 87 products, over 18,000 sounds and 500GB of instruments and effects it’s more than just a bundle – it’s everything. In addition to what’s included in regular Komplete 11 they’ve added Flesh, Emotic Strings, Replika XT and Symphony Essentials. Full list below.

An image of the new synthesizer FORM has also emerged on The Pro Tools PC blog which they claim originates from a Japanese website called “Rock On“. They’ve also got an image of a version called Komplete Select which appears to come on a USB stick.

According to the Scan website the pricing is as follows:

Komplete 11 – £469.20 inc VAT

Komplete Ultimate 11 – £928.80 inc VAT

Komplete 11 Upgrade – £124 inc VAT

Komplete Ultimate 11 Upgrade – £249 inc VAT

And there are some other options depending on what you have and what you want to go to.

There’s no details on the actual release date at this time but you’ve got to imagine that it’s any moment now. As ever this is an extraordinary collection of software for a superb price that’s probably worth it even if you use only a fraction of the content. It’s good to see something completely new in the bundle in “Form” and I’m only disappointed that Kontakt didn’t receive an update.
