Classical Cutaway
If you’re an all-nylon person and Flamenco or Fado is your thing, then you might have heard of Cordoba. The brand offers various models, from small 1/4-sized guitars to full-sized models, with some in very colorful finishes. So, it is not surprising that the Yamaha-owned brand has added another exciting color to its Fusion orchestra series.
This new color of the Cordoba Fusion Orchestra CE series brings along all the things we’ve come to know and love: Solid Canadian cedar top with rosewood back and sides, single cutaway, slim Mahogany neck profile with 16″ radius Ebony fingerboard.
It’s still the regular 4/4 size, so you’ll get all the lovely resonances a classical guitar is famous for. With its cutaway, you’ll be able to play all 20 frets comfortably. But the optics are what matters most with this edition: Teardrop burst combined with a hand-inlaid wooden rosette and a Mahogany binding. It’ll catch your eye even if you don’t want to.
Cordoba Fusion Orchestra CE: Electrics and Hardware
As for the tuners, the Cordoba Fusion Orchestra CE comes with Cordoba Honeycomb machine heads. The classical guitar also includes an ebony bridge.
In terms of the pickup system, this acoustic guitar system comes with a Fishman Presys Blend preamp. This includes a built-in tuner, a three-band EQ, a notch dial to prevent feedbacking, and the ability to blend the mic signals.
