Dada Noise System II: A joystick-packed wonder from Liquid Sky and Erica Synths
Erica Synths Fusion sound generation, a Quadraphonic Sound Panner and an abundance of joysticks form the basis of this new collaboration with the Liquid Sky Artist Collective.
Dada Noise System II
These collaborations are always deep, dark and thoroughly impressive. They are adventure playgrounds in voltage manipulation and sonic exploration. They aptly describe it as:
a modular synth-lab which is dedicated to create all kind of abstract organic analog noise / ambient soundscapes / industrial noise / bad ass bass / spheric atmospheres / experimental unheard drones / sonic glitches and of course all kind of thrilling horror- and scifi-sounds for the professionals.
Sounds groovy. Every module in the rack is capable of producing sound all on its own and so the combinations and possibilities are really quite endless.
The system features:
- Fusion VCO2
- Fusion VCF3
- Fusion Modulator
- Black Stereo Delay
- Black Joystick2
- Black VC Clock
- Black Modulator
- Black Dual VCF
- Black Quad VCA
- Black Spring Reverb
- Black Output
- 25 patch cables
The choices of module and intention of this system come from the Dada movement of artists dedicated to the Avante-Garde for over 100 years. It would spill out into art, politics, literature and continues to be a driving force in chaos and randomisation through media and artistic expression.
The Dada Noise System II system is our 2021 take and reflection on dada to make chaos, noise, randomness and insanity controllable and playable.
Quadraphonic Surround Panner
The bottom row of the Dada Noise System II is the optional Quadraphonic Surround Panner. It consists of a pair of joysticks, a pair of mixers, VCAs and Stereo Delays. It allows for some complex routings and experimental sound space wranglings.
Case confusion?
All the images currently show the system complete with the Quadraphonic row. If you just want the Dada Noise System II then that’s the top two rows in a single externally power case. When you order the Quadraphonic row you get the extra side pieces that turn the two-row case and a single-row case into the console sided system we see in the photos.
The Dada Noise System II is €3,310 and the Quadraphonic Surround Panner is an additional €1,820.

Dada, futurists? Some credit due for that marketing angle, don’t think that one’s been used before! Yep, looks good, if modular flies yer balloon. Waiting for the first comment that says ‘it’s no good ‘cos I need presets’. Shouldn’t take long….
