D’Angelico Premier models get Supro Bolt Buckers and new finishes

The D’Angelico Guitars have added new Supro Bolt Bucker pickups to their Premier Semi-Hollow Bodied SS, DC, and Mini DC models for 2023. Along with a host of new finishes, and updates across the models.
Supro Bolt Buckers
D’Angelico Guitars has been busy updating its Premier SS, DC, and Mini DC models for 2023. These semi-hollow guitars have all had a revamp and are now being offered in new finishes.
Plus, they now feature Supro Bolt Bucker pickups, along with a few tweaks to add some subtle updates to the winning formulas for each guitar.

Premier Semi-Hollow
These three Premier Semi-Hollow models are all priced at well under $1000 each, so they already offer great value for money.
Just now, they have some nice upgrades, including these Supro Bolt Bucker pickups.

A5 & A2 Magnets
The Premier DC and Mini DC models both come with a pair of nickel-covered Supro Bolt Bucker A5 which are custom-voiced to sound like PAF-style vintage humbuckers.
Whereas, the Premier SS has a pair of Supro Bolt Bucker A2 humbuckers, which provide a bold, vintage-inspired clarity with some extra warmth in the mid-range on both clean and saturated tones.

2023 Upgrades
Plus, they all now have Pau Ferro fretboards and come with a set of ebony knobs for all the guitar controls.
Finally, the hardware has also been upgraded and includes a set of Grover ‘stair-step’ Super Rotomatic tuners and Graph Tech NuBone XL nuts as standard for all models.

New Colours
The new colours include a Dark Ice Tea Burst, Brown Burst, and Black Flake. These new finishes all look kind of vintage and classic to my eye. I’m sure they will be popular, as they all really suit these semi-hollow models really well.

Verdict
Overall, I would say that these three revamped 2023 Premier Semi-Hollow models are well worth checking out.
Some really nice upgrades across all three models and those new colours look great. The toughest part could be choosing which model to go for and in what finish.
