Much anticipated, the Darkglass combo series introduces new 112 and 210 versions of the Infinity and Microtube preamps.
Darkglass Combo Series
Faithful fans and followers have only ever been able to get hold of bits and bats of Darkglass kit. However, there’s now the opportunity to purchase a new selection of Combos with 500 watts of power.
Plenty of power, and with speakers in 10″ and 12″ guise. Ideal for any modern bass player, this piece of old time rock and roll will suit any live stage or studio.

So, two versions of two new amps. Providing plenty of headroom, the 12″ 500 watt model features custom Eminence speakers.
Along with a WGS-40 horn and a Balsa wood cabinet, this has some solid bass line potential. Players will be able to make use of a simplistic cloud-based user interface to maximise versatility.
Still packing a punch, the smaller variant has the same custom speakers. However, weighing in at 14.5kgs, it will be easy enough to move between venues.
Top Panel
What else is in store for the Infinity series? The Combo 112 has a headphone out jack, along with a standard 1/4″ mono input. Control knobs for:
- Master Volume
- Graphic EQ Equalisation
- Preset Control
- Drive
- Blend Control
Benefiting players also are toggles for the amount of compression and preset volume. Moreover, you get to select between OFF / Leo Bass / Vintage Microtubes / Microtubes B3K / Alpha-Omega.
Back Panel
Again, aimed at contemporary bass players on the move, there are twin DI connections for pre and post-signals. With the ability to lift the ground of the XLR output to combat any feedback or unwanted interference from the DI.
Return and footswitch jacks on tap for using the Darkglass Combo Series with your existing rig. Both with MIDI capabilities.
In addition to an AUX-in port for backing tracks and extra accompaniment.
Darkglass Combo Series: Little and large
Both of these infinity bass amps are pretty lightweight considering their capabilities. If you go for the 112 over the 210, the only thing you’re gaining is a lighter amplifier.
With plenty of easy-to-use controls and with those custom Eminence speakers, these have a lot of cool features.
