The new Darkglass Microtubes X 900 is an updated version of the company’s Microtubes 900 and offers a six-band graphic EQ and all-analogue preamp. This 900-watt amp packs some serious punch and is still super lightweight.

The Darkglass Microtubes X 900 is a new limited edition run with a 900-watt digital power amp and the Microtubes X distortion circuit.
As mentioned in the intro it also features a six-band graphic EQ and an all-analogue preamp which all adds up to a winning formula for a bass amp.

Controls
The front panel controls consist of Level, Comp, LPF, HPF, Drive and Mix, long with a Master out and a Mute button. It has an Active/Passive switch for the input and a Clean Comp button to engae the compressor. Plus, the aforementioned 6-band EQ section.
Features
Key benefits for gigging musicians include MIDI for channel switching and muting, plus Impulse Response cabinet simulation. These IRs have up to three different storable virtual cabinets.
Darkglass Suite
Then using the desktop version of the Darkglass Suite, which allows users to select and use any of the available impulse responses from the Darkglass library.

Rear Panel
Connectivity includes Speaker outs on SpeakON combo jacks, PostDI and PreDI outputs, USB-C, Send/Return for effects, MIDI, Footswitch, and Ground Lift. And of course, it is compatible with the Darkglass Intelligent footswitch *.
Plus, it has an auxiliary input and a headphone output.
