Marshall introduced its new Origin series as recently as NAMM 2018, so to see this Marshall Origin 5C combo at such a bargain price in October 2019 probably means this sale won’t be around for long and that they will sell out quickly.
The single-tube EL84 power amplifier delivers 5 Watts to the 8″ Celestion Eight-15 speaker. Two 12AX7 and ECC83 tubes are at work in the preamp stage and give you classic Marshall crunch tones, albeit at a lower volume than a huge half stack.

All the Tone
The Origin 5C features a 3-band EQ and a tilt control that seamlessly blends the sound between Normal and High Treble. There is also a volume control that activates the boost via push-pull or optional footswitch, which presses the amp into crunchy territory.
A feature you wouldn’t automatically expect in an amp of this size is the serial FX loop. The power switch between high (5 Watts) and low (0.5 Watts) makes it a useful little amp to have around.
