Berlin electronic household Native Instruments is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. This is why the Komplete Kontrol M32 is now available at a particularly affordable price. Until November 4, 2021 you can get the compact keyboard controller for only EUR 89. I own one and my experience with it has been quite pleasant. It doesn’t feel cheap or unpretentious, although the keybed is exactly what you’d expect from this price range. While there’s no sugarcoating it (cozy keys cost money, as they should), the M32 has the “compact keyboard that could” type of impression going for it.

If you are in the same situation I was, looking for a mini controller keyboard that’s uncomplicated but offers competent control over DAW and software instruments, you can get yourself a bargain. Native Instruments has reduced the price of the Komplete Kontrol M32 until November 4 – instead of EUR 119, you will pay EUR 89.
The smallest member of the Komplete Kontrol tribe, the M32 offers 32 velocity-sensitive mini keys. Two touch-sensitive touch strips are available for pitch bend and modulation. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the M32 is a viable solution for producing on the go. It also holds its own in the studio with intuitive control provided over Logic Pro, GarageBand, Ableton Live, Cubase, and Nuendo.
For software instruments from the NI Komplete Bundle and all NKS-compatible plug-ins, the keyboard provides ready-made assignments of its eight knobs for immediate control. The Machine software can also be controlled with the keyboard. It makes a wonderful companion to the Maschine Mikro controller. There are also smart functions, such as Smart Play which generates chords, scales and arpeggios. They are available within the Komplete Kontrol plug-in host.

Furthermore, the Komplete Kontrol M32 is bundled with a thorough software package. In addition to Ableton Live 11 Lite and Maschine Essentials, the Monark, Reaktor Prism and Scarbee Mark I instruments are included. There is also the Komplete Start package with 2000 sounds and a 2-month subscription for Sounds.com.
