DJ Deals with Denon DJ, Hercules, AKG and More
Denon DJ has two standalone DJ systems on sale right now. Hercules, AKG, UDG and Decksaver get in with fantastic deals as well. Can your credit card handle it?
DJ Deals with Denon DJ and Hercules
If you’re in the market for a standalone DJ system, the gods are smiling down on you right now. Denon DJ has not one but two systems at great prices as you read this, while Hercules is also discounting one.
Denon DJ Prime GO
If you’ve been looking for a lightweight travel system, Denon DJ Prime GO is a great two-deck console for the DJ on the move. And, at around $1097/£869/€1014, there’s never been a better time to pick one up. Accordingly, it’s big enough to give you control over two decks yet small enough to fit in a backpack. That portability extends to the onboard lithium-ion battery with four hours of performance as well. It’s got you covered with a 7-inch touchscreen, USB and SD ports, WiFi for music streaming and Rekordbox compatibility.
Denon DJ Prime 4+
Bigger may not always be better but in the case of the Denon DJ Prime 4+, it most certainly is. This monster four-deck console has everything you need to start the party, including WiFi streaming, 26 effects, four filter effects, an internal trigger pad sampler, a touch display and compatibility with Serato DJ Pro and Serato DVS. Stop drooling and commit, already. With a price of around $2397/£1899/€2216, you’ll even have money left over for new tunes.
Hercules DJControl Inpulse 500
OK, I get it. You don’t have a lot of money to spend on your hobby. In that case, you’re in luck, as the Hercules DJControl Inpulse 500 is currently going for around $246/£195/€228. Hercules’ flagship two-deck controller, it sports 16 RGB pads with eight modes like hot cue, slicer and loop. There are also filter controls, EQ and more. It’s also compatible with Serato DJ Pro. If you already have a PC, all you need is a controller. And at this price, it would be a shame not to take advantage.
DJ Deals with AKG, UDG and Decksaver
There’s more to being a DJ than just a good console or controller. You need some solid headphones, plus if you’re on the go, flight cases and covers. And wouldn’t you know it? There are deals at Thomann now in just those categories.
AKG K-182
Need a pair of headphones? Chances are if you’re a working DJ, your current pair have seen better days. AKG’s K-182 are going for a great price right now at around $95/£75/€88. These closed back cans have a spectacular frequency range of 10Hz to 28kHz and feature a detachable cable so you won’t yank your headphones off your head when you step on the lead. Of course they sound great as well.
UDG Flight Case Pioneer PLX-CRSS12
Owners of Pioneer PLX-CRSS12 decks take note: the UDG Flight Case Pioneer PLX-CRSS12 is now 13% off! For about $218/£173/€202, you get a powder-coated and anodised case made from 9 mm plywood and black aluminium edges. On the inside, your decks will stay safe thanks to EVA foam and carpet padding. And, at only 9 kg, it won’t break your back either.
Decksaver Pioneer DJ OPUS-QUAD
Our last deal comes from Decksaver. Their Pioneer DJ OPUS-QUAD cover is going for around $115/€106/£91, an almost 12% savings on the normal price. Decksaver has been killing it, with covers for just about every device under the sun. That list obviously includes one for the Pioneer DJ OPUS-QUAD. It protects against dust, dirt and liquids at home and even helps shut down shocks during transport. If you’ve been on the fence about getting some protection for your OPUS-QUAD, this polycarbonate cover is just what you need.
