Dual Dagger

Stereo signals have become a bit of a thing in Eurorack and Shakmat Modular is making it known that it has a filtering solution designed to carve your spatially aware audio. We originally saw this in the virtual Superbooth coverage last year but it seems to have grown a resonance knob since then.

Dual Dagger features a 24dB/Octave low pass and high pass stereo filter with individual frequency controls. The Resonance sits between them and is shared by both although you can switch either in or out. Flicking the Link switch locks the two together in a 48dB/Octave Band-pass filter.

You have CV control over the cutoff frequencies and resonance. There’s also CV control over the panning of the low and high pass separately.

Shakmat says that the module is carefully calibrating to ensure that both sides of the stereo signal share the exact same parameters and respond in the same way. And through the panning you could potentially split the low and high pass into different channels or somewhere inbetween.

Dual Dagger is available now for €249.
