Epiphone Alex Lifeson Les Paul Custom Axcess Ruby
New Ruby coloured Epiphone Alex Lifeson Les Paul Custom Axcess model announced
The new Epiphone Alex Lifeson Les Paul Custom Axcess signature model has been revealed today and is available in a Ruby finish. It follows on from the 2021 Standard model and is now available in a left-handed version on launch.
Alex Lifeson Les Paul Custom Axcess
The Epiphone Alex Lifeson Les Paul Custom Axcess comes loaded with an Epiphone Ceramic Pro neck and ProBucker 3 bridge pickups with push/pull coil splitting on the volume controls.
No Piezo?
There is no piezo system on this new 2023 version and so it is not quite as versatile as the previous 2021 Standard model.
AAAA Quilt Maple
It has an AAAA quilt maple veneer top and comes in a Ruby finish. The mahogany body has an Axcess contour heel and a belly cut to make it more comfortable to play.
The glued-in mahogany neck has an ebony fretboard with Custom block inlays and 22 Medium Jumbo frets.
Locking
The Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking tremolo system allows it to go further than a standard hardtail Les Paul.
All the hardware including the Floyd is gold on this model which suits that deep red finish quite nicely.
Leftie
This model is also available in a left-handed version for the same price as the regular model, which is a huge plus.
Price Increases
The prices of Epiphone models are slowly creeping up across the board and so expect to pay more for this new Custom version when compared to the 2021 Standard edition.
MSRP – USD 1299 / EUR 1599 * inc hard case
